Chester Allen Smith Sr. and Dorothy Emma Smith (Fuller); his former wife Ellen Mae Smith of Temple; his sister Barbara Clark of Odessa; his granddaughter Heather Michael Smith of Cleveland, Ohio.; and his children, John Smith (Shawn Smith), Mark Smith of Washington, Susan Page (Mike) of South Carolina, David Smith of South Carolina and Becky Johnson (Jerome) of Oklahoma.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Smith of Temple; his siblings, Marjorie Jo Brundage (Bob) of Brandon and Paul Smith of Lakeland, Florida.; and his grandchildren, Shelly Schutte (Jon), Cathy Isley (Tyson), Victory Smith, Matthew Page, Kimberly Gordon Oates, Lakyn Platt, Karlee Hart, Tyler, Jeffery and Chris Johnson. He is also survived by his 5 children, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
