She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard E. Godley; her parents, Ralph Haynes and Alexanderina Haynes; and her sisters, Reanie Glasscock and Betty Wolford.
She is survived by: her former husband James Robert Dowell; her children, Hunter Dowell (Alisa), Robin Gomez (Fabian) and Bryan Godley; her grandchildren, Chaz Myers (Jerica), Hannah Narvaez (Alan), Dru Gomez, Austin Dowell, Jameson Dowell and Weston Dowell; and her great grandchildren, Brier Pierce, Harleigh Myers and Kellan Myers.
After the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, she moved into the home of her daughter where she happily and comfortably spent the last eight months of her life with family.
