We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2022, at the age of 79, Charlie Joe Waits (Temple, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodson Waits and Hazel Waits; and his brothers, Kenneth Waits and Larry Waits. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Waits of Rogers; his children, Craig Waits of Temple and Kristie Waits of Temple; and his brothers, Carl Waits of Dripping Springs and Clayton Waits of Dime Box.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Rogers ISD in care of Rogers Memorial Scholarship Fund.
