He was predeceased by: his wife Sallye Bagelman Waldman; his daughter Bari Waldman Mintz; his parents, Rose Waldman and A. H. Waldman; and his sisters, Sylvia Waldman, Gertrude Krasnow and Doris Spector.
He is survived by: his children, Suzi Gerstenhaber (Elliot) and Steve Waldman (Gayle); his grandchildren, Alix Wren (Greg), Brooke Reichek (Jonathan), Andy Gerstenhaber (Farin), Jaffray Getz (Chris), Joshua Mintz (Emily), Matthew Waldman and Amanda Sherman (Logan); his great grandchildren, Avery, Lainey, Davis Wren, Reese, Ethan, Reagan Reichek, Hailey, April Gerstenhaber, Ellie, Lauren Getz, Benson, Alec, Bari Mintz and Aimee Sherman; and his nephews, Lenny Krasnow (Lynn) and Marvin Krasnow (Sandy).
