He is survived by: his children, David Malina of Temple, Tracy Ivey of Temple and Rebecca Frenzel of Moody; his siblings, Tommy Ivey of San Angelo and Mary Rogers of Moffat; and his close friend Shirley Cook of Morgan's Point. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
