It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettye Wilson (Temple, Texas), who passed away on March 21, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Mack and Bettie Keyes Smitha; her former husband Sammie Taylor (Albert Wilson); her siblings, Vera Smitha Boles, Doris Smitha Jagoe, Wilma Smitha Kelton, Jessie T. Smitha (JT), Delma Smitha and Preston Smitha, Jr.; her granddaughter Enisha Roberson; and her great grandchild Cannon Roberson.

She is survived by: her husband Albert Wilson; her daughter Regenia Lee (Joe) of Richmond; her siblings, Billy Smitha (Monica) of Belton and Sandra Harrison (Roscoe) of Temple; and her grandson-in-law Anthony Roberson of Houston. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
