She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Henderson and Minnie Harris (Clemmons); her husband Ray Jackson Burns; her siblings, Travis Franklin Harris and Vera Francis Calvin; her son Bruce Edward Burns; and her daughter-in-law Jacque Burns.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Elene Hendrix (Andrew); her brother Raymond Edward Neely Harris; and her granddaughter Amber Nicole Hendrix. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, the Salvation Army, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
