He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Sr. Walters and Pearl Walters; his wife Ella Walters; his son Ernest Walters; and his brother John Walters.
He is survived by: his sons, Bert Walters and Gary Walters; his stepchildren, Ethel Puckett, Ralph Bowermaster and Robert Bowermaster; and his sister Patricia Walters Sunnucks. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
