He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Symm and Frieda Symm (Draeger); his brothers, Elmo, Ervin and Alton; his sisters-in-law, Imogene, Irene and Betty; and his son-in-law Mike Hebert.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Symm; his children, Pamela Hebert, Ron Symm (Leslie) and Michael Symm (Susan); his grandchildren, Jason Morris (Sladjana), Jeffery Morris, Justin Symm (Maddie), Megan Symm, Jordan Symm, Abby Frank (Alex) and Tannon Symm (Abby); and his great grandchildren, Maksim, Micah, Isaac and Owen. He is also survived by many friends and family.
