He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilio Piñon and Maria Piñon (Mosqueda); his father-in-law Rogelio Morin; his siblings, Carmen Flores, Jesusa Ortega, Dorothy Mojica, Josephine Duarte and Ramona Leal; his siblings-in-law, Manuel Flores, Catarino Ortega, Tony Mojica, Santiago Ocanas, Joe Juarez and Maria Piñon (Nena); and his grandson Damian Avila.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Piñon; his daughters, Tonya Avila (Greg) and Audriana Piñon; his siblings, Linda Ocanas, Jane Juarez, Manuel Pinon and Frank Pinon; his sister-in-law Bernice Hinojos (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Maria Avila, Mariah Avila and Dalia Avila; and his great grandchildren, Maleiyah Avila and Marciano Russell.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hewett-Arney Funeral Home (14 W Barton Ave, Temple, TX 76501). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe (707 S 6th St, Temple, TX 76504).
