She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Jackson and Minnie Hayes; her husband Merrill Snowden; her daughter Susan Dusek; and her granddaughter Allison Dusek.
She is survived by: her children, Chip Snowden (Phyllis) and Nancy Ellis (Bubba). She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
