It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alton Roy Symm (Temple, Texas), who passed away on December 13, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Symm and Frieda Symm; and his brother Ervin Symm. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Cearley; his daughters, Paula Denise Van Winkle (Monty) of Temple and Cynthia Gayle Jewell (Derrick) of Austin; his grandchildren, Christopher Nice, Kristen Nice, Brandon Van Winkle, Johnathan Van Winkle, Amanda Jewell, Rick Jewell (Casey), Luis Jewell and Misty Van Winkle; his great grandchildren, Amy, Marie and Timothy; and his brothers, Bernie Symm (Doris) of The Grove and Elmo Symm of Temple.
In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church Audio Visual Technology Fund would be appreciated.
