It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan Pershing Brandes Jr. (Temple, Texas), born in Bryan, Texas, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse David Bartek; his parents, Allan Pershing Brandes, Sr. and Audine Belford Brandes; and his former wife Ruth Parker Brandes. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Axe Brandes; his granddaughter Channing Brandes Giroux (Mike); his daughters, Devenney and Delaney of Temple, Texas; his siblings, Michael L. Brandes (Delores) of Temple Texas and Jen Sue Bartek of Las Vegas, NV; his child Michael Wayne Brandes; and his brother Constructors.

Although Allan was fond of chimps, he was very generous with his donations to save animals of all kind.
