She was predeceased by: her parents, John Newton and Thelma Marie Thurman (McGee); her husband Charles Roming; and her siblings, Linda Boyd, Ruth Kelso, Millie Bolton, Ernie Thurman, Rod Thurman and David Thurman.

She is survived by: her children, Peggy Sue Cast of Temple, David Thurman (Toni) of DeKalb, Texas, Everett Wall (Amy) of Temple and Wall of Temple; her pet Buddy; and her sister Leona Wallace (Ronnie) of Ocala, Florida.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home (3110 Airport Rd, Temple, TX 76504). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Eddy Cemetery (9823 I 35 N Frontage Rd, Eddy, TX 76524).
