He is survived by: his wife Margaret Melton (Freeman) of Temple; his sons, Andre Melton (Jennifer) and Kevin Benford of Temple; his brothers, Lawrence Bedford (Bonnie), Jack Bedford of San Antonio, Odell Melton of Kingsville and Allen Bell of Temple; his grandchildren, KeMari, Kanyiah Melton and Araile Gutierrez of Temple, Texas; his goddaughter Minister Sonya Jones; and his sons, Isaac Ellis and Isaiah Ellis of Temple. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
