It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irma Lee Whitfield of Telephone, Texas, born in Denton, Texas, who passed away on January 11, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leon Curtis Stallings and Stella Mae Sprayberry; her husband Thurman Whitfield of Washington; her children, Jenny Renee Kreitel, Thurman Curtis Whitfield, Terry Lynn Prince, Darrell Dwayne Whitfield, Cindy Lee Rogers, Amanda Lee Baker and Theron Dale Whitfield; and her sister Sharon Ann Williams. She was also cherished by 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
