With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Joe Smith of Telephone, Texas, who passed away on January 12, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Smith and Marie Smith (Russell); his wife Emma Nell Slagle; and his brother-in-law Bobby Slagle (Thomas Lemaster). He is survived by: his son Kyle (Lisa); his grandson Kade; his nephew Jeff Slagle (Karen); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Justin, Brittany, Jordan and Ryan; and his sister Evelyn Lemaster.
