He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie L. Hall and Jessie Mae Ross Hall; his wife Annie Jewel Lacy Hall; his sisters, Ollie Mae Hall, Louise Hall Houze, Dorothy Helen Hall Harrison and Othella Hall Boyd; and his daughter Emma Bonner Clark.

He is survived by: his daughter Shelia Hall Pettis (Marvin, Sr.); his grandchildren, Shemeca, Marvin Jr., Shelesha, Marlon Pettis, Burl Bonner Jr. and Kimberly Clark; his great grandchildren, SheKaylan Pettis, JaRon Levingston, Shala, Tyreshia and Burl Bonner III; his great great grandchildren, I'Rihanna Anderson and Ja'Kobi Parsons; and his sisters, Erma Davis and Marvette Bonnie (Albert Houze). He is also survived by nieces nephews and other relatives and friends.
