He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloise Gauntt Thompson and Clarince Wilson Thompson; his siblings, Elizabeth Griffith (Aunt Liz) and Edward Thompson (Uncle Bud); his niece Karinda Griffith; and his parents-in-law, Jack and Bonnie Burleson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Thompson; his sons, Tim Parolini (April) and Kenneth Thompson (Cristan); his granddaughters, Caelyn, Kendall and Kameryn Thompson; his nephew Alex Griffith (Brenda); and his pet Irish Setter. He is also survived by numerous cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Eighth Avenue Baptist Church or St. Katherine's Hospice -Providence Village.
