Velva Jo Nicholas Magness Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2023, at the age of 96, Velva Jo Nicholas Magness (Teague, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Velline Wills Nicholas and E. O. Nicholas; her brother E. O. Nicholas (Nicky); and her brother-in-law Glendon Carroll. She is survived by: her husband Clifton Magness, Jr.; her sons, C. E. Magness (Sherry) and Brent Magness (Tina); her grandchildren, Cliff Magness (Jennifer), Grant Magness (Rebecca), Jeremy Magness (Megan) and Allison Magness Nitto (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Austin, Alexa, Walker, Tate, Samuel, Brooks, Vivian and Celine; her sister Iva Carroll; her nieces, LaDonna Turner and Vickey; and her great-nephews, Glendon Ray Carroll and Michael Nicholas. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
