With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Kerzee of Teague, Texas, born in Jacksonville, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2024 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Putnal and Helen Putnal; and her great grandchild Kadge Story. She is survived by: her husband Don C. Kerzee of Teague; her children, Donny Kerzee, Jr. of Galveston, Stacy McKinney (John) of Cotton Gin and Shawn Kerzee (Sandra) of Teague; her grandchildren, Kaytie Story (Casey), Josh Kerzee, Shea Kerzee, Caleb Kerzee, Brandon McKinney (Shannon), Eric McKinney, Patrick Kerzee, Amber Hayworth (Brent), Taylor Kerzee and Lane Kerzee; her brothers, Steven Putnal and Michael Putnal; and her nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Jessica, Jason and Justin. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
While owning the business in Galveston, she was active in numerous civic organizations and functions including the Galveston Chamber of Commerce, donating to the Ronald McDonald House, and the Shriners Children Hospital.
