He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Pingleton; his stepfather Billy Mears; his father Owen "Sonny" Beene, Sr.; his brother Ronnie Beene; his grandmother Virgie Pingleton; and his stepson Gary Kelley.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Beene; his children, Amy Beene (Jesse), Cher'ee Wilcoxen (Joey), Vantley Kelley (Christy), Linda Mullins (Tyler), Tanya Bosley (Allen) and Carrie Jo Ogilvie (Whit); his nephew Jonathan Beene (Ashley); his niece Patricia Norman (Ricky); and his close friends, Jack, Louann Hale and Don Jackson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
