It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monica Lynn Abbitt of Teague, Texas, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Monica Lynn has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Juchno and Jean Juchno; and her brother John Juchno. She is survived by: her children, Guinevere Galloway (John), Robert Abbitt (Laura), Chris Abbitt (Natalie) and Matt Abbitt (Courtney).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home (450 E Main St, Fairfield, TX 75840). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lake Chapel Cemetery (500 E Reunion St, Fairfield, TX 75840).
