She is survived by: her daughter Laquanita Kumar of Buffalo; her grandchildren, Broderick McKinzie, Jamie Phillips, Cameron McKinzie and James Phillips, Jr.; and her siblings, Morris Dorsey, Gathon Dudley Shannon, Joyce Jackson, Glendora Scott, Gathon Delores Shannon and Barbara Dorsey. She is also survived by seven nephews; four nieces; numerous cousins and friends.
