With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Vassar Sullivan (Teague, Texas), born in Bowie, Texas, who passed away on February 26, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Ted Vassar and Rev. Estelle Vassar; her brothers, Bobby Jo and Ted Vassar; and her daughter Gina Sullivan Neusch.
She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Sullivan of Teague, Texas; her children, Eddie Sullivan (Kim) of Socorro and Missy Newhouse (Butch) of Mexia, Texas; her son-in-law Michael Neusch of Canton, Texas; her sister Dr. Ruth Burgess; her grandchildren, John Sullivan, Emily Sullivan, Erin Neusch Bendiksen, Ian Sullivan and Madison Newhouse; her great grandchildren, Everleigh and Eleanor Bendiksen; and her dachshund Sissy. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
