He was predeceased by: his wife Doris A Grant; his parents, John Henry and Nellie Grant (Gilbreath); his siblings, Grady Grant, Jack Grant, John Grant, Jr., Irene Boysen, Minnie Barrow, Dorothy Shuttleworth and Polly Harmon; his son Michael Grant; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Allison Grant.
He is survived by: his children, Iris Jean Martin (Billy) of Jewett and George A. Grant, Jr. (Bubba) of Jewett; his grandchildren, Billy Martin, Jr. (Sara), Cheryl Kleinjan (Coby), Julie Breedlove (Daniel), Tyler Grant Abbott (Michelle), Allen Grant (Katie), McKenna Rainford (Brad), Kevin Grant (Tosha) and Kacey Lowery (Adam); and his great grandchildren, Rebekah, Rachel, Jacob, Samuel, Madeline, Connor, Jackson, Quinn, Sawyer, Jack, Collins, Parker and Ada.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hilltop Lakes Chapel. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
