She was predeceased by: her parents, Vester Bruce and Adelle Cherry (Preuss). She is survived by: her children, Diana Abbott (Mike), Gary Ryan (Terry) and Donna Alston (Robert); her grandchildren, Jonathan Fife, Brian Fife, Missy Leventhal (David), Matt Ryan (Lilly), Jacob Alston and Rebeckah Crye; her son-in-law Mike Abbott; and her grandson-in-law David Leventhal. She is also survived by Sixteen great-grandchildren and 2 bonus grandchildren, called her Mamaw and Grammy.

In lieu of flowers you may send a memorial donation to the City of Taylor, Taylor Fire Department Red Santa Program, at 400 Porter Street, Taylor, TX 76574, to help get gifts to those in need during the Christmas season.
