She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Heselmeyer and Emma Heselmeyer; her husband Ervin Volek; and her siblings, Bobby Ray, Lynn Fay and Melissa.
She is survived by: her daughter Stephannie Woelfel (Edward); and her grandchildren, Madalynn Raesz (Montgomery) and Logan Woelfel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Shirley's honor to the Taylor Brethren Church.
