He is survived by: his father Sammie Ray Griffin, Sr.; his brothers, Charles Gadison, Jr. and Bennie Gadison; his wife Caretia; and his siblings, Dorothy Thomas, Clifton Gadison, Pearlie Gadison, Annie Gadison, Melvin Gadison, Goldie Gadison, Vivian Gadison, Aaron Gadison, Commie Gadison, Chantae Patterson and Regina Hamilton. He is also survived by fifty-two nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; uncles and aunts; and a large number of cousins, a host of other relatives and friends.
