He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Gomez; his son Richard Gomez; his parents, Eduardo Gomez and EnCarnacion Gomez; and his siblings, Porfirio Gomez, Patrica Lucio, Ben Gomez and Bill Gomez.
He is survived by: his children, Otelia Gomez, Rita Calhoun (Richard), Ruben Gomez (Jackie), Arthur Gomez (Jessica) and Frankie Gomez; and his siblings, Camillia Gomez, Joe Gomez, Sandy Gomez and Carlos Gomez. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
