It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mildred Wood of Taylor, Texas, born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Furr and Bessie Furr; her husband Sterling Henry Wood Jr.; her daughter Carolyn Lawson (Wood); her sons-in-law, Eddie Geurin, Cotton Lawson and Bill Ward; her grandson David Ward; and her siblings, Imogene Renfro, Anna Stegman and Carl Furr.
She is survived by: her children, Anna Ward, Edith Geurin, Sterling Wood (Lucy) and Phillip Wood (Carrie); and her grandchildren, Crista, Brett, Adam, Brandon, Matthew, Christopher and Logan. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
