She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hurta and Karolina Hurta; her former husband Ben Gross; her husband Ed Dowling; her siblings, Elsie, Esther, Ruby, Julie, Velma, Helen, Doris, Roy, Rhode, Charles, Edward and Jerry; and her son-in-law French Poe.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Jane Hurta; her children, Connie Poe Junkin (Bobby), Sandra Milburn (Billy) and Brian Gross (Ginger); her grandchildren, Starr O'Neil (Jeff), Christy Fearon, Pam Loredo (Joe), Mirriah Milburn Seggern (Charlie), Kassidy Milburn Farris (Travis), Brianna Martindale (Scott), Keegan Gross (Ashley) and Braden Gross (Grace); and her great grandchildren, Meagan O'Neil, Bryton O'Neil, Sienne Fearon, Hayden Wilcox, Logan Wilcox, Caden Seggern, Evan Seggern, Grady Farris, Granger Farris, Eli Martindale, Ethan Martindale, Anna Claire Martindale, Dalton Gross, Corey Gross, Walker Gross, Kinsley Mae Gross and Westley Gross.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Providence Funeral Home (807 Carlos G Parker Blvd NW, Taylor, TX 76574). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Taylor City Cemetery.
