With profound sadness, we say goodbye to LaRue Rathke Raesz (Taylor, Texas), born in Holland, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyle McWilliams and Lena McWilliams (Lindemann); her daughter Donna Koonce; her husband Oscar Raesz; and her great grandchild Avery Koonce.
She is survived by: her children, Janis Marek (Clifton), Nancy Mikulencak (Calvin) and Mike Rathke (Melanie); her son-in-law Kendall Koonce; and her grandsons, Kelly W. Koonce, David Koonce, Eric Koonce, Chad Marek, Blake Marek, Jeremy Rathke and Bob Erskine. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Providence Funeral Home (807 Carlos G Parker Blvd NW, Taylor, TX 76574). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Taylor City Cemetery.
