It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kermit Sakewitz (Taylor, Texas), who passed away on May 19, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Sakewitz and Alice Sakewitz (Krueger); and his brothers, Gus, Jr., Sonny, Kenneth, William and Harry.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Czimskey; his children, Kim Sakewitz of Thorndale, Brian Sakewitz of Taylor, Kirby Sakewitz (Andrea Cuba), Clay (Wendy Sakewitz) and Steve (Pamela Lawhon); his grandchildren, Lacie Sladek, Jose Aleman, Coty Stone, Carter, Haley Sakewitz, Cullen Sakewitz, Destiny Fogolini, Sarah Sakewitz, Evan Sakewitz, Eric Brooks, Dawson Brooks, Keragan Brooks, Braeden Lawhon, Maisen and Ian Rucker; his great grandchildren, Eliana, Nathan, Jeremiah Aleman, Charlee, Emery, Avery Stone and Casen Jewett; and his sister Alice "Pug" Matetzschk of Coupland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Kermit Sakewitz Memorial Fund at City National Bank of Taylor.
