He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Ray Jones; his brother Billy Ray Jones; and his nephew Stephen Ray Laffere. He is survived by: his mother Edith Jones (Etheridge); his children, Leslie Ray Jones and Sherry (Troy Marx); his siblings, Marilyn (Gary Laffere) and Willie (Kristi Jones); his grandchildren, Dalton Ray Jones, Taylor, Luke and Ava Marx; and his niece Karen Price.
