He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Thigpen and Lawhon Thigpen; and also, Albert Thigpen and Elizabeth Thigpen. He is survived by: his wife Margie; his stepdaughters, Tammy Whitehead (Chad) and Liz Barker (Wade); his grandchildren, Ava, Kaleb, Zach and Jace; and his siblings-in-law, Dianne Westfall (David), Dale Thigpen (Melinda), Eddy Thigpen (Pam) and Mike Thigpen (Sha). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of loving friends.
