He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Janie Mertz and Felipe Perez Jr.; his great-grandparents, Elsie Fernandez and Chester Vidal Sr.; and his uncles, Ignacio H Cruz and John Fernandez.

He is survived by: his parents, Beth Louise Vidal and Jimmy Perez Sr. (Brandy Perez); his sister Megan Lynn Perez (Zachary Manzanero); his grandparents, Santos Perez, James Mertz and Chester Vidal, Jr.; his great-grandparent Ruby L. Vidal; and also Harlee Shay Manzanero. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
