He is survived by: his sister Esther Velasquez; his children, Adam Rangel, Eve Rangel and David Rangel; his granddaughters, Ashley Michelle Tamayo, Idalis Pilar Sanchez, Madeline Eve Rangel, Selma Ruthy Sanchez and Daniella Isabel Rangel; and his great grandchild Santiago Ivan Rangel.
