It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgie Jane Strmiska (Taylor, Texas), born in Granger, Texas, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Konarik and Annie Konarik; and her husband Gilbert Strmiska. She is survived by: her children, Larry Strmiska (Tina) of Cameron and Nadine Goodney (David) of Baytown; her grandchildren, LeeAnn Barnhill (Steven) of Baytown, Gregory Dawson (Bubba) of Baytown, Nicole Voyles of Baytown, Erik Strmiska (Leah) of Cameron and Joseph Strmiska (Tana) of College Station; and her sisters, Dorothy Zarosky of Academy, Geraldine Konarik of Cedar Creek and Emily Hutka of Zabcikville. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
