He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Gola and Angelee Winkler Gola of Mary's Catholic High School; his sister Veronica Gola Kaatz; and his brother-in-law Frank Kaatz Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Nell Gola of Anna's Catholic Church; his children, Gary Gola (Sharla) and Tracy Doss (Jamie); his granddaughters, Brittni Gola Tucker (Logan), Coty Gola, Christina Doss Jimenez (Vincent) and Natalie Doss Van Delden (Jeff); his great grandchildren, Layton Tucker, Kora Tucker, Bodie Tucker, Hanna Jimenez, Haven Jimenez, Halle Jimenez, Ava Bush, Lyla VanDelden and Violet VanDelden; and his sister Angie "Bootsie" Mucha (Clifford). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kora and Bodie meant the world to Freddy, continuing his family line was his greatest pride, He FaceTimed Kora almost everyday during Covid, before she could even talk, just to see her.

In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to St. Mary's School, Thorndale Volunteer Fire Department, or Taylor Rodeo Association.
