With solemn reverence, we commemorate Easter Hothan of Taylor, Texas, whose life came to an end on January 22, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther McMillon and Tennie Haynie McMillon; her son Stacy Mack Hothan; her husband Bill Hothan of Ovalo; and her siblings, Freeda McMillon, Imogene Boozer, Regnal McMillon and Dub McMillon.
She is survived by: her son Don (Cindy Hothan); her grandchildren, Amanda (Kyle Wiskow) and Andy Hothan; her great grandchildren, Addison and Reece Wiskow; and her sister Betty Rankin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Elmwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Abilene Education Foundation or your charity of choice.
