Dorothy Carter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Carter of Taylor, Texas, who passed away on January 24, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lambert Sladek and Elsie Sladek; and her brother Rueben Sladek. She is survived by: her husband Arthur, Sr.; her children, Raymond Pokorny of Corpus Christi, Charlie Pokorny (Chris) of Dallas and Arthur, Jr. Carter (Lauren) of Leander; her stepson Dennis Carter of Taylor; her brothers, Billy Sladek (Linda) of Lometa and Howard Sladek (Brenda) of Lott; and her sister-in-law Sherry Sladek of Taylor. She is also survived by three sons and one step-son.
Due to Covid restrictions, masks are required for all services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Cancer Research Foundation and to Meals on Wheels of Williamson County.
