It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Domingo Flores Herrera in Taylor, Texas, born in Odonnell, Texas, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Herrera and Marcelina Herrera; and his sisters, Francisa Casanova, Hermilinda Herrera, Juanita Garza and Hiliaria Casares.
He is survived by: his wife Jesusa Cedillo Herrera; his children, Domingo Herrera Jr., Victor Herrera (Isabel), Raymond Herrera (Margie), Juanita Herrera, Juan Herrera, Anita Herrera Badillo (Ernesto) and Jesusa Herrera Lopez (Luis Miguel); and his siblings, Marcelino Herrera (Josie), Manuel Herrera (Delfina), Vincent Herrera, Lupe Herrera (Mary Lou), Jessie Herrera (Gloria), Antonia Garcia (Hipolito), Florinda Rosales (Jose), Mary Balderas and Gloria Pierce (Frank). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Providence Funeral Home (807 Carlos G Parker Blvd NW, Taylor, TX 76574). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (111 W Rio Grande St, Taylor, TX 76574). A committal service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
