We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2024, at the age of 49, Dawn Yvette Carathers (Taylor, Texas), born in San Pablo, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Alfred McDonald Sr.; her grandmother Billie Fay Pearson; her son Alexander Morgan Jr.; and her stepfather James Albert Scott Sr.. She is survived by: her mother Debra Dismucke (Odom); her husband Christopher Carathers; her daughters, Marione McCain and Aubrione Scott; her siblings, Covella Jones, Chanel Wright, Tricia Wright, James Scott Jr., Charles Wright Jr., Alfred McDonald Jr. and Lance Wright; her grandmother Olivia Scott; and her grandchildren, Chynna McCain, Kha'lani, Zyla McAfee and Quinlan McAfee. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
