She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Milton Gainer (Pete) and Emma Pauline Bearden (Pauline); her former husband Don Dodson; and her siblings, Milton, Milfred and Barbara.
She is survived by: her husband Loren Dittmeyer; her children, Cheryl Dodson-Alderman (Jace), Debbie Hammond and Donnie Dodson (Shari); her grandchildren, Dawn Holmstrom, Misti Holmstrom, Michael Strickland and Sara Shelby (Gene); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Holmstrom, Tori Holmstrom, Brooklyn Tiedemann, Dylan Tiedemann, Carson Shelby and Kooper Shelby; her son-in-law Gary Hammond; and her brother Wimpy Gainer (Leila). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
