She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm "Willie" Leschber and Lena Leschber (Simank); her siblings, Wilburn Leschber, Joyce Koslan (Leschber) and Gladys Leschber; and her husband Tom.

She is survived by: her children, Ivy Weed (Lewis), Avis Smith, Iris Guthrie (Melton) and Willie Smith (Donna). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
