He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Lane; his parents, Alvie William Lane Sr. and Opal Tommye Ridge Lane; and his sisters, Nelda Inge and Billye Cocke.
He is survived by: his son Troy Lane; his daughter-in-law Christi Lane; his daughter Tara Holman; his son-in-law Timothy Holman; his grandchildren, Kiersten Arnold (Colby), Tanner Lane (Mandi), Tyler Lane (Majirel), Madison Holman (Alyssa), McKenna Dickey (Case), Maecyn Holman and Rustin Lane; and his nephew Keith Honeycutt.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Kc Hall (Knights of Columbus Hall) (2201 E 4th St, Taylor, TX 76574).
