He was predeceased by: his parents, Ma Luz Jacobo and Eucebio Villafuerte. He is survived by: his wife Maria Carmen Cervantes; and his children, Abel Villafuerte Jr., Robert Villafuerte, Gabriel Lee Villafuerte, Florinda Ann Villafuerte and Danny Anthony Villafuerte. He is also survived by three daughters-in-law, 19 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
