With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Shipman Hackett of Taylor Lake Village, Texas, born in Morehouse, Missouri, who passed away on January 21, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James L. Hackett (Jim); her parents, Marion Alvin and Ferol Jane Shipman (Holland); her brothers, Marion Shipman and Charles Shipman; her grandchildren, James F. (Jim), Audrey Hackett, Joe Marcum (Marcy), Alex Chan and Vanessa Chan; her great grandchildren, Emma Marcum, Ellie Marcum, Charlie Hackett and Dallas Grace Liles; and her brother-in-law Rev. David R. Hackett (Kay). She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
