He was predeceased by: his father Oliver Williams "O. W."; his brothers, Paul Matthews and Gus Matthews; and his grandson Tomas Alvarez. He is survived by: his children, Jim Matthews (Melissa) of Tatum and Carla Matthews of Tatum; his brother Joe Matthews (Katie) of Ardmore, OK; his grandchildren, Whitney Harrod, Dameion Simon, Rainie Donovan, James Rodgers and Devin Rodgers; and his great grandchildren, Dareion Harrod, Rainbow Smith, Landon Donovan and Declan Rodgers. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousin.
